Adam suffered a brain hemorrhage and a concussion during a mid-air collision with another player’s hip bone. After months of memory rehabilitation, physical therapy, and hundreds of soccer games on television, Adam returned to the field wearing the Full90 headguard. "When I get out there on that field, everything - the outside world - is gone," Adam said. "And it's 90 minutes of the best thing ever."

Full90 Headguards have been a huge success within our youth soccer program. Two years ago we had 15 kids wearing the gear and now the club has nearly 75. Our teams are heading the ball more and have eliminated many chances of injury (Head to head, head to post and head to ground) upon us and the competition. Thanks FULL90 for all you do to keep us SAFE....
I have always been really encouraged with the new safety equipment being developed in sports. Then we had a near fatality during a soccer game resulting from a head collision which resulted in the player's heart stopping. He was revived by his father on the field. After this incident, I researched and found the Full90 product. The next year I made it compulsory for my Varsity and Junior Varsity players to wear the Full90 headgear. It did not make sense to me that shin guards that protect your leg are required by all level of soccer yet we do not protect our most valuable part of our body. I have been contacted by many people across America with a story about their child getting a head injury, and they commend my team for being role models. This is the future of soccer. I would highly recommend the Full 90 product to any level of soccer - especially all youth divisions. Our children are our future and we need to protect their well being.

The Full90 headguard is the best form of head protection possible. My daughter is now a junior in HS and she has always played at a high level. The speed and velocity of the game has increased dramatically over the last few years. I personally have seen 2 concussions and 2 additional head collisions which have resulted in stitches. One resulted in 31 stitches across a 15 year-old’s forehead. The Full90 provides the best option for head protection. I see more and more players wearing them, and more and more parents requiring their kids to wear them. It is the only safe thing to do.

The Full90 headguard is without a doubt the most important piece of equipment I want on my daughter. She is far to precious to take any chances and loves soccer way too much for her career to be cut short due to head injuries, concussions etc. I am thrilled that it is available to our children and look forward to the day that it is mandatory for all.
I honestly believe that the Full90 headgear can help to prevent concussions. I would advise every parent of a young player to try it. It also gives the younger players more confidence to go and head the ball. One of my own college players wears the Full90 and without it she could not play.

Unfortunately, for our family we discovered the Full90 Headguard too late. After our son’s life-threatening head injury, the neurosurgeon’s allowed him to return to play on the condition that he wore the headguard. After our son’s injury we required our 6 year old daughter start wearing one also. In her first game while wearing the headguard she ran into the metal goal post full speed with her right shoulder and chest taking the brunt of the force. However, her head also bounced off of the post as well. Thankfully she was wearing the headguard and didn’t even notice that her head had hit the post. Without the Full90 headguard my wife and I would not allow either of our children to continue playing soccer. Our daughter has become so accustomed to wearing the headguard and understanding that it is a piece of “required” equipment that she has been known to go to eat after practice or games while still wearing the headguard.
With an ex-player mentality, I initially sidestepped head gear thinking "soccer has got on so long without them." I became interested when even my most concussion-educated player (who had prior concussions) chose not to report symptoms to the trainer. My observations as a coach revealed: competitive players overall do not pay attention to concussion symptoms. Staying in the game is more important. Albeit the chance is low of long term effects happening, the worst can be prevented. For me, it's a "no brainer" that my players are equipped with Full 90 head gear.

At the top levels of the girls youth game, aerial prowess is a skill that can separate a very good team from a championship team. We mandated the use of the Full90 Headgear with a “test” team in the fall of 2005. Two years later, in July of 2007, the girls won the U13 Midwest Region II Championships, heading home 4 of the 8 goals during the tournament. Our dominance in the air not only in front of goal, but in midfield and while defending, was an integral part of our team’s positive performance. With the drastically minimized risk of injury that the Full90s gave the girls, we were able to gain the little edge needed to find success.

The Full 90 is optional on our team but highly encouraged by the coaching staff and training staff for injury prevention. During pre-season, I ask them to try the Full 90 for a week and then make their decision. After the players use it a few times, they’re typically sold on it’s ability to protect them. We’ve cut down on major concussions almost 100%. I’m definitely a believer in it’s effectiveness to protect the players from most major head injuries in soccer.

Both of our children have been wearing Full90 headgear ever since they started playing soccer, just like they both have worn shinguards. It only took them a couple of soccer practices to get used to wearing them. Now, they won't go out to play in games and practices without headgear on. As all of the studies and data show, headgear certainly makes us feel that we are giving our kids a better chance of staying in the game and more importantly, staying healthy in the long run.

I have been wearing the Full90 headgear since my favorite coach, Jim Evans told me to almost 3 years ago. Two other girls on my ODP team are now wearing Full90. I've been hit in the head all over and have had no bleeding or bruises. That's why Full90 is part of my uniform.-Julia was featured in "Sports Illustrated Kids" wearing her Full90 Headguard.

These players are believers in safety and headgear.
